Our History

Our coaching began in the Ahwatukee YMCA Jr Suns program, in August 2016. Over many seasons we found it challenging to squeeze fun and fundamental teaching in a single 60 minute session. This then lead us to organize free basketball skills clinics for all ages at our local neighborhood park, in August 2018. This was the birth of HumbleSavage. Our goal was to provide quality, caring and enthusiastic coaching to youth in our community whom desired to improve their skill set regardless if they played for our team or if they're members of the YMCA or not. In December 2018 we partnered with the Ahwatukee YMCA to host free skills clinics for all ages every Sunday, averaging 50 participants each week. We currently offer Recreational teams, Competitive teams, AAU Club teams, skills clinics, small group and 1:1 training sessions.
